Who I am
Haseeb Sagheer is a Data Scientist and AI/ML Engineer focused on building practical AI solutions, machine learning systems, and data-driven products. He works with Python, machine learning, NLP, generative AI, and modern AI engineering tools, with hands-on experience developing real-world applications and SaaS products. His work combines technical expertise with a strong focus on practical implementation, automation, and solving real-world problems. He built Daily Site Log and writes here from the product and from conversations with the foremen, supervisors and owners who use it.
How the guides are written, and what I am not
I am a software engineer, not a contractor, superintendent or construction lawyer, and the guides do not pretend otherwise. Each one is built from three inputs: the contract forms and regulations it cites (AIA, ConsensusDocs, FIDIC, JCT, NEC, OSHA, HSE), which are linked in a Sources section so you can check the wording yourself; the daily reports, delay records and disputes that the people using Daily Site Log describe to me; and the product itself, whose screenshots appear in the articles. Where a question needs a lawyer or a scheduler, the guide says so. Where a number is a third-party estimate rather than a published fact, it is labelled with its source and how much I trust it.
Corrections are welcome and are made with a visible updated date. If you work on site and something in a guide is wrong or missing, email me; the guides get better from that faster than from anything I can research.
Why Daily Site Log exists
Small contractors lose arguments they should win because the day's record was in a WhatsApp thread, a phone gallery, or nowhere. Daily Site Log turns a foreman's voice notes and photos into a sealed, branded PDF with the weather, crews, delays and a fingerprint anyone can verify. It does one thing; the about page lists what it deliberately does not do.
