5. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain session security. We may also use analytics tools (such as Vercel Analytics or Plausible) to understand how the product is used. These analytics tools are privacy-friendly and do not track individuals across sites.
To learn which of our own marketing works, we record how you first found our site: the referring website (for example a search engine), the first page you visited and any campaign tags in the link. This is kept in one first-party cookie on our own domain for up to 90 days and, if you create an account, saved with your account. It is never shared with or sold to anyone. We do not set this cookie for visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. After signing up you may be asked once, optionally, how you heard about us; you can skip it.
Inside the app we record which features are used, for example that a report was submitted, a photo added or a PDF downloaded, with the time. We never record what you write in a report. This helps us fix what is hard to use and is never shared or sold.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and popular pages. It uses no cookies and does not identify you. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only with:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers
- Database and storage providers
- Paddle (payment processor and Merchant of Record)
- Email service providers for transactional emails
- Analytics providers (privacy-focused, aggregated data only)
- Legal authorities when required by law
7. Data Storage and Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and secure storage infrastructure. However, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and keep your account credentials private.
8. Data Retention
- Account and report data is retained while your account is active
- Deleted accounts may be removed after a reasonable period
- Billing and legal records may be retained as required by applicable law
9. Your Rights
You can request at any time:
- Access to the personal data we hold about you
