These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Daily Site Log, a web-based SaaS platform for creating construction daily reports, project logs, and PDF report exports, operated at DailySiteLog.com ("Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Daily Site Log.
2. Definitions
- "Service" means Daily Site Log and all features available at DailySiteLog.com
- "User" means any individual who accesses or uses the Service
- "Account" means a registered user account on Daily Site Log

- "Subscription" means a paid access plan (Pro or Business)
3. Eligibility
You must be capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use Daily Site Log. By using the Service you represent that:

- You will provide accurate and complete account information
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You will keep your login credentials secure and confidential
4. Description of Service
Daily Site Log is a construction daily report platform that enables users to:
- Create and manage construction projects
- Generate structured daily site logs
- Record weather, work performed, labor, equipment, materials, delays, and safety notes
- Upload site photos with captions
- Export professional PDF reports
- Search and filter past reports
- Share reports via a read-only link (paid plans)
- Collaborate with team members (Business plan)

5. Accounts and Responsibilities
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must keep your password secure and not share it with others
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date
- You may not create multiple free accounts to circumvent plan limits
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Daily Site Log to:
- Upload or transmit illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Upload malware, viruses, or malicious files
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Use the Service for fraud, misrepresentation, or deceptive practices
- Misrepresent the content or accuracy of construction reports
- Abuse refund requests or circumvent payment obligations
- Violate any applicable laws or third-party rights
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service without authorization
Daily Site Log is built for construction professionals, contractors, foremen, and site supervisors. It is not intended for physical goods retail, human-service-first businesses, or any use case outside professional construction documentation.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of all project data, daily logs, photos, and report content you create within Daily Site Log. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of all content you enter. Daily Site Log does not verify, audit, or validate the accuracy of user-created construction reports.
8. Payments and Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and renew automatically until canceled. Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle may appear on your billing statement.
- Prices are shown in USD and may change with reasonable notice
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
- Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period after cancellation
- Paddle's buyer terms apply to all transactions processed through Paddle
9. Refunds
Refund requests are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy. Refunds may also be subject to Paddle's refund process, as Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all transactions.
10. Free Plan
Daily Site Log offers a free plan with limited features so you can evaluate the Service before upgrading. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits at any time. Abuse of the free plan — including creating multiple accounts to bypass limits — may result in account suspension.
11. Service Availability
We aim to keep Daily Site Log available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or events outside our control may cause temporary downtime. We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions.
12. Disclaimers
Daily Site Log is a documentation and record-keeping tool for construction professionals. It is not legal advice, engineering advice, safety compliance advice, or construction management advice. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and validating reports before submitting them to clients, regulators, or any official party.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daily Site Log shall not be liable for:
- Lost profits or business opportunities
- Loss of data caused by user error or account deletion
- Construction disputes, project delays, or contract issues
- Inaccurate or incomplete information entered by users
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Our total liability in any matter arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Fail to pay subscription fees
- Engage in abuse, fraud, or illegal activity
- Use the Service in a way that harms other users or our infrastructure
You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting support.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Daily Site Log after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
