- Can I start free?
- Yes. The free plan lets you create your first project and generate up to 10 daily reports per month, no credit card required. It is not a time-limited trial.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Monthly plans cancel instantly — your access continues until the end of the current billing period, then moves to Free automatically.
- Do I need to install anything?
- No. Daily Site Log runs entirely in the browser and works on phones, tablets, and desktops on any job site.
- Can I add photos to reports?
- Yes, on every plan. Free includes 5 photos per report; Pro and Business are unlimited. A photo taken in the app is stamped with the time, GPS position and a SHA-256 hash, so it holds up as evidence. Gallery photos are kept but marked unverified.
- Is this only for large construction companies?
- No — it's built mainly for small contractors, subcontractors, foremen, and site supervisors who need professional daily reports without the admin overhead.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes, on every plan. Reports and photos are saved on the phone with no signal and upload themselves when the connection returns. Install it from the browser like an app.
- What is the weekly client report?
- On Pro and Business, add a client email to a project and every Monday they get one branded PDF covering last week: work done, crews, delays, safety, photos and each day's fingerprint. You can also send it on demand from the project page.
- What are client viewer logins?
- Business lets you give the owner, consultant or engineer their own free login limited to the projects you choose. They can read reports, photos and PDFs as they are filed, and nothing else. They never use a seat.
- How does the team plan work?
- Business plan owners invite team members by email. Each member gets a role (Admin, Supervisor, or Viewer) and shares access to all org projects and reports.
- Who is behind Daily Site Log?
- One software engineer, running it independently. Read the about page for why it exists, or email support@dailysitelog.com with anything the plans above do not answer. About Daily Site Log.
