Short version
Contractor Foreman is one of the cheapest all-in-one construction platforms: estimates, bids, scheduling, daily logs, time cards, change orders, invoicing and more. Its plans are priced by how many users they include, from $49 a month for one user to $332 a month for unlimited users on annual billing.
It suits small GCs who want a lot of features for little money. If you only need daily reports, it is still more software than you need.
We make Daily Site Log, a daily report tool, so we are a competitor. Figures are sourced and labelled.

Who Contractor Foreman suits
Good fit: small general contractors and remodelers who want estimating, scheduling, daily logs, time cards and invoicing in one place without paying Buildertrend or Procore prices.
Less suited to:
- Teams that need a polished homeowner experience (selections, a branded portal). Buildertrend is stronger there.
- Crews that only want daily reports. The breadth means more setup and more screens than a foreman needs at 5pm.
- Contractors who need claim-grade delay records with start and end times, cause, responsible party and tamper-evident reports.
Contractor Foreman alternatives
| Tool | Model | Entry price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| JobTread | Base fee + per user | ~$159–$199/mo + $18–$20 per user (pricing guide) | Remodelers focused on estimating and job costing |
| Buildertrend | Flat per plan, unlimited users | ~$339–$829/mo annual (pricing guide) | Larger residential builders |
| Daily Site Log | Flat per company | $0 (1 project) · $19/mo Pro · $79/mo Business (5 seats) | Daily reports, stamped photos, delay records, sealed PDFs |
| Raken | Per user, annual | Reported ~$15–$59/user/mo (pricing guide) | Daily reports plus time cards and production |
Daily Site Log does one job: the daily record. The supervisor talks for a minute and the report fills itself in; photos carry time and GPS; each delay is logged with the party responsible; and each submitted report is sealed so the client can verify it. No estimating, scheduling or invoicing.
